How Rodney does it
Concrete holds onto everything: leaf stain, mildew in the shade, red clay, and the grime that tracks in from the road. Over a few years a driveway goes from light tan to a flat grey, and a wand alone usually leaves it striped.
Rodney uses hot water and a surface cleaner, so the whole slab is cleaned evenly with no zebra lines, then edges in by hand along the walls, steps and joints where the machine cannot reach.
The same goes for sidewalks, patios, pool decks and stone walkways. Stone gets a gentler touch than poured concrete, because the local sandstone is softer.

Will pressure washing leave lines on my driveway?
Not with a surface cleaner. It cleans the whole slab at an even distance and pressure, which is what stops the zebra stripes a handheld wand leaves.
Why use hot water on concrete?
Hot water releases oily and organic grime that cold water only spreads around, so the slab comes up cleaner with less pressure on the surface.
Do you clean stone walkways?
Yes. Stone walkways and steps are washed at a gentler pressure than poured concrete.
Do you clean pool decks?
Yes. Pool decks and patios are part of concrete cleaning.
